Vegas and tram road challenge

Had a blast in Vegas for a conference earlier in the week. Super motivated to get back to work. Had my fastest tram road challenge yet. 3000 ft climb almost 4 miles in 45min. A good day with my friend Hank.

The big 5!

SF

Had a great visit with Mom, Pa, Hank, Ezra and Eliza too.  Great to see the cousins playing!  It was also lots of fun celebrating Ezra's and Zachary's birthdays a little early.  Can't wait to get everyone together again soon.

Oak Glen

It's apple picking season. Had a nice wagon ride then a hike. Now it's time for some fresh apple pie!

Ice skating

It's 108 outside but not on the ice. Boys are getting better or at least more daring.

Weekend adventure

Escaped the heat to San Diego and lucked upon a car/boat/vintage rv show in Old Town. The space cadet is at Dicks last resort in Gaslamp

Camp surf

Camping right on the beach less than a half mile from Tijuana. Forgot the tent so me and Shane are sleeping under the easy up while Ethan and Noah sleep in the little tent. Nice to hear the sound of breaking waves and feel the cool ocean breeze!

We were robbed

> Heidi's first day of her new job and we come home to this. We have been waiting for the police for over 4 and 1/2 hours to come over so we can file a claim with our insurance. We are not happy campers but it could have been worse. At least nobody was hurt and everything wasn't stolen. We feel violated! Well life goes on, we will do our best to remain positive and learn from this experience.

Americas finest half marathon

Had fun running with Steve. Lost a key found a key, found a new case for my phone and survived 80% humidity. A good day, now time to relax. The boat is from Mexico, to train there navy.

New throwns

Proud of my DIY self. Installed new toilets with minimal cursing and yelling. Ok the first toilet installation went better than the 2nd but compared to my plumbing skills 10 yrs ago it's a big improvement. Next it a new kitchen sink.

Scorpion

Stepped on this little guy in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Felt like a needle going into my foot. They say North American scorpions don't poison the victim unless they are allergic. Let's hope I'm not allergic. Getting NO sleep tonight! Do you know anyone else who has been attacked by a scorpion?

First day of school

Ethan starting 3rd grade while Zachary starts kindergarten. Glad Mom was able to join the boys on their first day.
