Next door to our complex is a RV park. While riding around yesterday I came across this amazing redneck contraption. Takes outdoor living to a while different level.

Bike ride

Went for a great ride today.  Desert Willow golf course had a car show with Jazz music.  The pink car is my pick for Heidi and I like the Rolls Royce.  Happened upon the Westin timeshares and they had hula dancers with a luau theme.  Finally rode across the street the the Marriott Desert Springs to watch the sunset on the lake.  Hard to believe this is all within a short bike ride from our house.  Going to be rough going back to work Monday but I must say it's been a great break without traveling.  I really like the house and neighborhood.  

Living desert cont.

Victor joined us this time.  Kids enjoyed feeding birds in a new enclosed exhibit.  The wind tunnel was worth the $2.  That's a mountain lion being examined by vets.  You can't see but his tongue was hanging out and looked pretty funny.

Order of the arrow ceremony

Only 2 more years and Ethan will be doing this.  Older scouts dressed like indians and performed a ceremony for the Webelos who earned the patch.  The only patch the kids keep into Boy Scouts.  Ethan is sitting behind the lady in white on the right.  A good group of kids and parents in Pack 205.

Opening day

Boys both had team pictures and games today. Zachary had a single on his first at bat and Ethan scored after hitting a double and stealing 2 bases. On the way to Ice cream Zachary fell asleep. Both boys are wiped out but had lots of fun.

More painting

Heidi did an amazing job picking the colors and painters.  I must admit aprehension with some bold colors but they turned out perfect.  Honestly I couldn't think of better choices!  Not just saying this to please my better half.....
