Go Janie

The ladies we bought our numbers off had Janie printed on the front. Since I picked up the numbers Steve got to wear the number with the name. Janie aka Steve ran the half in 1:45 while it took me 2hrs. Great course and perfect weather. Looking forward to doing this again next year.

Batanical garden and the zoo

Nice Steve has a free pass to the zoo and we stopped by Balboa Park to try and see the cherry blossom festival but it was too crowded. Bikes are the way to get around on a busy weekend.

Sunset in San Diego

Went for a nice ride around Coronado and took the ferry across the bay. Always enjoy visiting my brother in San Diego.

New trike

This was donated by a nice older gentleman named Chuck. A teacher friend named Michelle Patton told him my story. Don't ask how many bikes are in the garage, Heidi is having trouble parking her car.

BNP PARIBAS Open

Rode my bike over this morning. Qualifying rounds in the new stadium. Looking forward to watching Groth play.

Sam's Family Spa

The rain postponed my trip to San Diego but we still enjoyed some
R & R. It's especially nice to have both boys swimming, riding bikes and kicking back.

Betty and Don Draper

Inspired by one of our favorite shows. Heidi sporting the mohair while I wore the wool. The theme of our friends 50th bday was 60's. Guess we should have figured everyone else would dress up as hippies.

Golf and Polo

Busy afternoon in the East Valley. First Tee and a bunch of colleges hosted the kids at the Norman Course at PGA West. Boys are interested in lessons now. Happened upon a polo tournament along the way. Fun to watch and enjoying the party on the sideline.

Craigslist Rocks!

After scouring the bikes for sale section on our local Craigslist website to find a bargain, today was the day. 2 practically new mountain bikes for $40.  Even included helmets, gloves, glasses, and digital distance monitors.  Don't worry they are not stolen. Just an old guy who took pity when I told him my story about my last bike being stolen. I love a deal!

Super Bowl

Our friends Shane, Kelly, Noah, Kara and neighbor Victor came over to watch the game. Guess who they are rooting for.

Pretty funny watching Ethan learn to ice skate. Today they tried the pull your friends by the bucket approach. Zachary had fun at t-ball.

Colony 29

Cielo Vista Charter school's annual fundraising event. Too bad I had to volunteer but it was fun giving tours of the property.

T-ball

Zachary did great today. He throws and hits hard, now he just needs to learn to catch the ball.

Manners

Learned about table manners at Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage today. Amazing estate but the class was a little painful with two hyper boys full of the dickens. Now I'm ready for some football!

Pedicab

Bike donated by Jasmine. Sweet girl who volunteers in our class. She got a new bike for Christmas so were grateful to get her old one. Works perfect for the pedicab, plus I keep it hooked up and locked so it's not going anywhere I don't take it.

Scouts

Tonight was fun! The boys got to throw pies at the cub master for raising a bunch of $ selling popcorn.

I'm a winner

Did a 10 mile race this morning called the Palm Springs a Wellness festival. Filled out a card and won this!
