Basketball camp

I would say Zachary was the most improved player.

Camp and cactus

Ethan had fun and showed off his Lego scorpion robot that has a catapult. Camp was through Thursday. Zachary has 1 more day of basketball camp.
The cactus are blooming in the meadow down the street. Guess we're not to far from the desert.

Chickens

Having fun taking care of our neighbors chickens while their gone. Like pets, seem to like people. Loving the fresh eggs.

Hitting the fire hard today. One helicopter after another sucking from the lake.

Fire on the mountain

Busy Monday. Zachary started basketball camp today and Ethan started STEM camp, but not until 1:00. Decided to drag Ethan up the ski slope and take the chair lift down. Longer hike than I anticipated but Ethan was a good sport. At 3:30 saw some smoke and it grew and grew. It's on the other side of the mountain so we should be good but watching a bunch of planes and helicopters dropping water into the evening. 850 acres and no containment yet, will keep you posted.
On a good note Ethan loved STEM camp with the older kids and playing around the world on the neighbors hoop Zachary is getting much better at basketball, almost beat his dad.

Summer officially starts!

120 in the desert and 82 up in the mountains. So happy we get to spend the summer up here.
