Started out at a cool winery with peacocks and ended at Avila with a couple local brews on the pier with Brian. Thanks Yo Pa for watching the boys collect mussels.

Oatman AZ
This was a true old west town on historic Route 66. Mules left over from the turn of the century litter the streets. Had lunch at the old hotel that hosted Clark Gable. Well worth the drive!

Hoover Dam
Walked across the Tillman bridge and took a walking tour of the dam. Pretty Dam amazing! Didn't realize how much our Coachella Vally depends on the energy and water from the CO river. The dam is one of the 10 engineering marvels of the world.

Pride parade
Wow this was an experience. Can't say we don't expose our kids! Honestly I think it's terrific our Valley hosts this parade every year. Who knows maybe the Boy Scouts will march next year. Ethan got a rainbow patch but I don't think the scouts are ready for that.

Dia de Los muertos
Big E was able to reuse his Halloween costume. Very cool event at a cemetery right down the street. Frank Sinatra is buried here at Forest Lawn.

The theme this year was "fun in the sun". Nice to sit after a long run this morning. The next parade on Veterans Day Ethan will be part of with the Boy Scouts
