Big Bear Hike

Last day and Heidi had the great idea of riding the chairlift to the top and hiking down.  Said she remembers doing the same thing in Tahoe when she was younger.  Great idea, sad it's our last day in the cool weather.  Had a relaxing week and it certainly beat the desert heat. 

Parade

Heidi & Ethan went to a birthday party down the hill so me and Zac saw a parade, heard some music and hung out with the dogs on the beach in the cool weather.  Now it's 9:00, Zac has been asleep for hrs and now its my turn.

Alpine slide & the hand

Fun to ride to the top of the mountain and slide down.  Both boys loved the speed.  A stroll through town we found this cool hand seat, wouldn't it look nice in our living room.

4th of July

Too hot in Palm Springs, we escaped to Hunington Beach for a parade, bike ride, beach fun and of course fireworks.  This might become an annual trip.
