Oh no not CPS

Had a bit of a scare today.  Ethan had a lump on his neck and was running a fever last night.  We told him we would take him to the doctor today, but he couldn't sleep becuase of the pain and his temp. wasn't going down.  Heidi took Ethan to the ER at 5 this morning while I stayed with Zac.  They ran several tests including a CT scan and determined his lymph nodes were infected.  They sent Ethan home with some some meds, but also contacted Child Protective Services.  I guess they were worried when Heidi, who had a bicyle accident over the weekend that scraped up her nose, knee and gave her a black eye arrived with Ethan and a golf ball sized lump on his neck. Well they sent over a nice couple social workers to drug test me, and determine I am a fit parent who does not beat his children or wife.  Kinda funny but actually reassuring they were concerned to check on our welfare.  So now we are home, resting from a long night and busy morning. 

Stagecoach 2010

OK back to the posting.  Got a new phone and had a hard time sending pics, but now it's working.  Had a blast at Stagcoach watching Sugerland and all the other country music bands.  Unfortunatly Heidi crashed riding her bike back home.  She scraped up her knee and face, wish I was the one to fall.  Should have walked the bikes through the crowded area. 
Enjoying the visit by the inlaws and Uncle Steve and Aunt Jen.  It is great  to watch Zac interact with Macen and Ethan play with Ashlyn.  Ethan's B-Day is Friday and his party is Saturday.  Will try to update blog daily.

Me and Heidi relived our youth watching Ethan hunt eggs and shoving down candy.  It was great except for the 5 hr ride home when Ethan was all sugared up.

Pacific Beach

After a nice jog went for a long bike ride with the little man.  Amazing views in San Diego.  I love this place, Campland on the Bay kicks ass.  Just me and Zac camping for a couple days to finish my long relaxing vacation.  Work Monday is gona suck but today is great.  Just wish Ethan and Heidi could join me.

Made it to Tucson

Found the train depot in downtown, they fixed it up nice.  Nice surprise to have a large hotel room at the Hyatt.  Looking forward to Reed park and some Easter egg hunts tomorrow and Sunday.
